Data Centre cooling industry leaders go head to head on the 14th October to determine the future of data centre cooling

We are now living on a planet that runs on data. Connectivity underpins everything we do and the data centre industry is constantly evolving to keep up with not only demand, but also its environmental responsibilities.

Cooling providers are stepping up to the plate and the demands of performance combined with energy efficiency are fostering an environment of innovation, with new and evolving technologies competing for space.

Liquid cooling as a technology is not just knocking on the door of the data centre world, it’s threatening to knock it down. Traditional air cooled system providers are looking over their shoulders, but are confident that with continued innovation, they will not be displaced as the technology of choice within most facilities.

In this live US-style online debate, industry leaders Airedale International and Asperitas will go toe-to-toe and try to convince the industry that their respective technology represents the future of data centre cooling.

“Immersion cooling is more energy efficient and will therefore overtake air-based systems as the preferred cooling method in most large datacentres by 2030”.

The above motion will be debated by Asperitas, represented by CEO Rolf Brink and Airedale’s Technical Account Manager Matt Evans, with both representatives given time to state their case and debate the other’s points. Making sure things don’t get out of hand will be moderator and industry expert Mark Acton.
